Buslane offers several payment options to make booking a charter bus straightforward for individuals, businesses, and organizations of all sizes.
Accepted Payment Methods
We accept the following forms of payment:
- Credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover
- Debit cards: Any debit card with a Visa or Mastercard logo
- ACH bank transfer: Available for bookings over $1,000
- Company check: Available for bookings made 30+ days in advance
- Purchase orders: Available for qualified corporate and government accounts (see Invoicing below)
All online payments are processed through our secure, PCI-compliant payment system. Your card information is encrypted and never stored on our servers.
When Payment Is Due
Payment timing depends on how far in advance you book:
- Bookings made 14+ days before the trip: A 25% deposit is due at the time of booking. The remaining 75% is due 7 days before your trip date.
- Bookings made 7-13 days before the trip: Full payment is due at the time of booking.
- Bookings made less than 7 days before the trip: Full payment is due immediately to confirm your reservation.
You will receive email reminders before any balance is due. If a balance payment fails, we will attempt to charge the card on file once more before contacting you directly.
Invoicing for Businesses and Organizations
Corporate clients, schools, government agencies, and nonprofits can request invoiced billing with net-30 payment terms. To set up an invoicing account:

- Provide your organization's name, billing address, and a billing contact
- We will review your request and set up your account within 1-2 business days
Once approved, you can book trips and receive invoices via email. Invoices can be paid by ACH transfer, company check, or credit card. A late payment fee of 1.5% per month applies to invoices not paid within the net-30 window.
Receipts and Documentation
After every payment, you receive an email receipt with a full breakdown of charges. You can also download receipts and invoices from your Buslane account at any time. If you need a custom receipt format or a W-9 for your records, contact our support team.
